David is a tenured business development and strategic planning professional with more than 30 years’ experience helping companies grow, profitably and predictably, including an Ohio-based procurement solutions company that he helped drive to a $1.25B valuation and acquisition in 2021. While solely focused now on working with manufacturers, David has spent his entire professional career helping companies ranging from medical device manufacturers to software developers to outsource agencies grow their top line revenue while never losing focus on bottom line profitability. This includes successfully leading start-up efforts for three different organizations and running his own consulting business. David currently works directly with leadership teams at multiple manufacturing facilities across NE Ohio to create and implement proven and effective strategies and processes that enable these organizations to thrive in an ever-evolving marketplace.
Professional Highlights
• Capably led all start-up efforts for three different organizations; two small, private firms as well as a publicly traded international organization.
• Founded two separate growth consulting firms, selling one to a former employer after being recruited as their SVP of Sales, sunsetting another after being hired by one of the firm's clients to join their consulting practice full-time.
• Executed, implemented, and maintained more than 20 multi-year contractual agreements with large medical device manufacturers such as Siemens, Stryker Medical, Hill-Rom, Midmark and others that represented more than $50M in annual revenue.
• Over a nine-year period, grew newly opened branch location of international data collection firm to become one of the Mahoning Valley’s largest employers, with over 350 associates.
• Successfully competed against long-established software providers in the antivirus space and grew company market share by more than 300% over a two-year period by focusing exclusively on K-12.
• Created and/or facilitated custom (sales) training programs for multiple organizations over a 30-year period, providing coaching and development (directly and indirectly) to more than 5,000 sales and customer service professionals.
