I work with business owners who are unsatisfied with their status quo. I teach, facilitate and coach them and their leadership team to upgrade their "Leadership and Management System", also known as their "Business Operating System". Through this upgraded system they achieve goals faster or with more certainty, improve business control and strengthen the leadership team so the owner has greater time freedom and "build to sell" so the owner can look forward to a better business exit.

The upgraded business operating system I deploy is based on the writings of Michael Gerber, Jim Collins, Patrick Lencioni and Verne Harnish. I term them as 'business architects" because of their research and leadership/management best practices design work. I teach and facilitate practical "tools", built from the "business architect blueprints", for better leadership and management results and vision execution.

What makes me unique is the combination of my business management and coaching experience, my proven process for upgrading a Business Operating System in a way that tailors it to the client situation and my demonstrated expertise as a facilitator and business coach. I have an expert perspective to help people understand the best-of-breed tools from EOS & Traction compared to Scaling Up/Rockefeller Habits and how they apply to their situation.

After a 35-year leadership and management first career in the Computer Industry I pivoted to a second career as a Business Coach. I began in 2012 focusing on one-to-one coaching and facilitating CEO roundtable peer groups for business owners. In 2016 my practice evolved to working with entire Leadership Teams by upgrading their "business operating system". The initial system I deployed in 2016 is the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) as a Certified EOS Implementer until 2021 then as a Certified Pinnacle Business Guide. In 2023 I gained certification as a Scaling Up Coach, further supporting my business model as an Independent Leadership Team Coach. Each certification provided me added management tools to tailor a Business Operating System unique to each client Leadership Team.

Personal Highlights
I am the father of three adult children and have one grandson. I enjoy boating the Puget Sound and Canadian coastal region. I also enjoy snow skiing and golfing.
