Rob Lynch
Burst Consulting
Austin, Texas, United States
About
Rob is passionate about working to ensure executive teams are operating in a healthy culture of accountability and have the right differentiated strategy to grow, scale and thrive.
As a former CEO and Board Member of multiple companies, four of which were acquired, Rob is a disciplined mentor who goes beyond business theory to deliver immediate and lasting results. Rob successfully managed two of the companies during the recessions of 2000 and 2008. In 2012, Rob decided that instead of building companies one at a time, he wanted to coach many companies at once.
Due to his extensive experience as CEO, he brings immediate credibility, accountability and impact. He provides active mentoring to companies and individuals through a structured model that pushes the C Suite (CEO’s, CFO’s, etc.) to discover, address and cohesively focus on the four major decisions every successful growth company must get right; People, Strategy, Execution and Cash.
Professional Highlights
Rob is a seasoned CEO, Entrepreneur, and Certified Scaling Up Coach. Prior to founding Burst Consulting, he led four start-up companies, all of which were acquired. As an experienced CEO, he has moved his companies to adopting new business operating models for increased monetization, raised outside financing while operating companies in a capital-efficient manner, opened foreign markets and created highly profitable reseller and channel partner programs, and led the integration of several acquisitions.

“Looking back at the past year, I believe TLC Services’ best achievement was retaining Rob to implement the Rockefeller Habits framework. We are simply making more progress in our business in a quarter, than we formerly did in a year. The team is more focused on addressing the right priorities and it has brought a sense of accomplishment, excitement and energy. Along the way, Rob has become a trusted advisor to me through our regular communications and planning processes due to his extensive experience as a CEO.”
— Charles LeBourgeois, President | TLC Linen Services
“Rob’s experience and advice as an experienced CEO makes his counsel very reality-based. I’ve appreciated the rigor, discipline and planning of the Rockefeller Habits, which has given me a proven framework for building effective communications throughout my leadership team, improving our cohesiveness and results. Throughout our learning, I’ve also appreciated Rob’s flexibility in teaching the process to make it relevant to my business. Given that I am in the business of giving real world advice, that’s terrific and a breath of fresh air.”
