Manufacturing Capacity Increase: Played a lead role in growing revenues by $60M, decreasing costs by $5.2M, and decreasing WIP and FG inventory by $11M at an Ohio firm supplying the semiconductor industry. Created additional growth capacity by launching and implementing a 15-year Lean Transformation, which included implementing a pull system with kanbans that worked within the ERP system. Over a 12 year span, help create a third party-verified financial impact of $737M.
Manufacturing Capacity Increase: Increased sales revenue by $33 million and decreased scrap by $8M at an Ohio lens manufacturer by launching a lean transformation, which included training, value stream mapping and kaizen events. Setup reduction in one of their key bottleneck areas freed up the capacity to take on the extra sales volume.
Manufacturing Profit Increase: Increased profits by 58% on flat sales in one year at an Ohio valve manufacturer by launching, coordinating, and sustaining a 16-year lean transformation.
Manufacturing Cost Reduction: Reduced costs by $5.5M in one year at an Ohio steel processor through a process of strategic planning, lean training, value stream mapping, team and facilitator training, and lean implementation.
Innovation: Worked with six companies of 50-1000 employees to create a Culture of Innovation through the implementation of the Innovation Engineering Operating System. The companies created pipelines of meaningfully unique ideas worth $5M, $11.8M, 15.6M, $25.9M, $39.7M and $384.6M respectively.
Established a Total Quality Management Program for a 300-employee, $50 million operation. Developed and implemented a total quality management program for all aspects of the business including manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, and engineering. Designed in the flexibility to meet specifications of QS 9000, Mil Specs, and individual requirements for aerospace customers such as GE, Boeing, and Pratt and Whitney.
