Adam Hayes is an accomplished operations executive with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing operations, product development, continuous improvement, engineering, and supply chain management. His experience covers a broad range of sectors including engineering, manufacturing, energy, telecommunication, education, and housing. This experience enables Adam to provide an exceptional combination of business acumen, communication abilities, and analytical expertise together with an adaptable and disciplined leadership and mentoring approach. His experience also includes mergers and acquisitions with several manufacturing and engineering organizations.

Today, Adam applies his talents and experience through his work as a Senior Advisor with the Strategy and Leadership Development group which is part of the Georgia Institute of Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership. In this role, he interacts with the founders, owners, and management teams to help small to medium manufacturing businesses focus on their strategic goals, improve performance, and maintain healthy growth.

Adam’s professional experience as a business owner and COO has included steering and directing rapid growth at small and mid-market professional service and manufacturing companies. His leadership has included challenging management of growth capital and debt restructuring required to manage ongoing and future operational needs. His experience includes steering a rapidly growing food manufacturing company through an acquisition and new accounts which resulted in recognition by the Association for Corporate Growth as #10 fastest growing company in Georgia in 2019.

Adam earned an MBA from the Kennesaw State University Michael J. Coles college of business and holds an M.S. degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. degree from Clemson University. He is a certified Gallup-Clifton Strengths coach and member of the Private Directors Association (PDA) Atlanta Chapter with a certificate in Private Company Governance.

Personal Highlights
Adam and his wife Angelique live in Roswell, Georgia and have three grown children. He volunteers time through several organizations as a mentor and in his free time enjoys hiking, kayaking, boating, and fly fishing.
