Scaling Up Coaches announces Google Cloud as Platinum Partner for CEO Summit 2026, Bringing AI and Cloud Innovation to Australia’s Scale-Up Leaders
Sydney, Australia — Scaling Up Coaches today announced Google Cloud as the Platinum Partner for the CEO Summit 2026, a premier executive gathering for CEOs, founders and strategic leaders of growth-stage companies. The event will take place 19–20 May 2026 in Sydney, bringing together founders and leaders of scaling companies alongside international scaling and innovation experts, UTS Business School professors, and industry leaders.
Hosted by Scaling Up in partnership with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), the CEO Summit is designed for CEOs, founders and leaders navigating the challenges of scaling in an era of AI, rapid technological change and global competition. The 2026 theme, “Reimagining Scaling & Innovation,” will explore how owners and leaders can leverage leadership frameworks and management science to address constraints, uncertainty and forge new opportunities to build more valuable, scalable and resilient companies.
A first for scale-ups in Australia, the CEO Summit is a collaboration between Scaling Up Coaches and UTS Business School. The high-caliber event will feature internationally renowned speakers including Verne Harnish, founder of Scaling Up and author of the global business classic Scaling Up, who will deliver an interactive masterclass on the Four Critical Decisions for Scaling a Business, and Shuya Gong, innovation leader at IDEO CoLab and Harvard Engineering, and Harvard Innovation Labs expert-in-residence, presenting a masterclass on scaling innovation in the age of AI.
Google Cloud joins Investment NSW, STS and Nexia among the leading partners supporting the Summit.
As Platinum Partner, Google Cloud will engage directly with scale-up leaders through a dedicated Google Cloud Lounge, offering opportunities for leaders to have conversations with experts and gain hands-on practical insight into how cloud and AI technologies can accelerate growth and innovation in their businesses.
Participants will also hear from Mike Langford, Head of VC & Startup Ecosystem at Google Cloud for Asia Pac, on how the transition from "AI-enabled" to "Agent-first" is restructuring the modern enterprise.
“Companies today face a dual challenge: executing with discipline while simultaneously remaining strategic and innovating at speed,” said Jason Wells, President and COO of Scaling Up. “Partnering with Google Cloud allows us to bring world-class AI and cloud capabilities directly into the hands of our clients who are strategic decision-makers in the region building industries and the next generation of great companies.”
The CEO Summit is intentionally curated to provide high-value peer connections and practical learning, with interactive, peer-to-peer CEO mastermind sessions, strategic innovation workshops led by UTS Business School faculty, networking and boardroom-style lunches.
Claire Mula, Scaling Up coach and Australian entrepreneur said:. “This is not a typical Australian business leader conference — it’s been curated to include high-caliber international scale-up experts who engage with top-tier scale-up CEOs and leaders from across the globe every day. Strategic leaders who are serious about building global companies. Having partners like Google Cloud, Investment NSW and Nexia alongside world-class experts in scaling and innovation here in Sydney is a truly first of a kind experience.”
Seats for the CEO Summit 2026 are limited, with Group options available for CEOs, founders and executive teams seeking up to date and practical frameworks, global insight and high-level peer connections that will unlock the next level of scale.
