April is thrilled to return to the business world as a certified Scaling Up coach after a rewarding 15-year career in the classroom. For the past 4 years, she ran Hawken School's Entrepreneurial Studies program - bringing the world of entrepreneurship to high school students through experiential learning. Her work with local entrepreneurs reignited her interest in strategic, efficient, and intentional execution and problem-solving.

She is looking forward to utilizing the Scaling Up tools to help business owners focus on what is most important to them.

Professional Highlights
April began her career on Goldman Sachs' trading floor, then moved on to strategy and operations consulting with Deloitte. She spent the first half of her teaching service in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Following a family relocation to the Midwest, she taught and coached at Culver Academies, and most recently at Hawken School in Cleveland, OH.

April earned a BS from University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce and holds a Masters Degree from the University of Southern California.

Personal Highlights
April and her three children live in Shaker Heights. Currently, April enjoys volunteer coaching youth soccer, engaging with the Matriots of OH, and participating on The Cleveland Museum of Art Women's Council.

Previously, she launched the Los Angeles chapter of Minds Matter and sat on their executive board until leaving the West Coast.

April spends all the time she can outside in nature or by a fire with a book and glass of wine.
