Elton Mutize is the Founder of Paradigm. He turns Africa's growth companies into compounding institutions.
His view is direct. Africa's best companies do not have a growth problem; they have an institution problem. Revenue climbs while execution capability stays trapped in the founder. Decisions stall, cash runs thin, and when it matters most- when raising capital, selling, or scaling- the market discounts the operational weakness. Paradigm closes that gap through Enterprise Value Acceleration, converting growth into cash, decisions into verified outcomes, and companies into institutions that command market value and outlast any single leader.

Professional Highlights
Elton has spent more than 20 years in investment banking, enterprise strategy, and executive advisory, working with over 100 organisations in sub-Saharan Africa. His career traces the full capital arc. He spent five years in investment banking, learning how capital reads a business from the outside, then fifteen years inside operations, fixing execution, and today he brings the two together, building institution-grade enterprises that capital rewards.
He works directly with founders, CEOs, and boards to strengthen cash flow, governance, and the execution rhythms that enable scale. He is a Certified Scaling Up Coach and a former Stanford Seed Business Transformation Advisor, and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Zimbabwe.
Personal Highlights
The son of a military father, Elton learned discipline early, and it shows in the systems he builds. A Christian, he believes Africa's economic potential is real and worth building durable institutions for. Outside work, he is a coffee drinker, a dancer, and a frequent traveler across the continent, with more of it he still wants to see.
