Ethan Martin, author and founder of PFD Group, Inc., is passionate about using his extensive experience as an entrepreneur, leader, and mentor to coach high-growth companies that focus on bettering their communities and the world around them. Since 2011, he has helped companies create a clearly defined and valuable strategy, build high-performing leadership teams, and successfully execute their plans, resulting in record growth, profitability, alignment across the company, and lasting positive impact for all stakeholders.

Ethan coaches and supports global leadership teams on how to focus ON the business instead of IN the business, allowing CEOs the freedom to devote 80% of their time to what “gives” them energy, foster meaningful connections with customers, partners, and stakeholders, and grow their business. Many of his engagements include helping clients build the culture they have always wanted through an employee-focused, high trust, and transparent approach.

Ethan earned an MBA from the Tucks School of Business and a BA from Carleton College, where he graduated with distinction as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Ethan has a long history as an entrepreneur in private equity, selling multiple companies, and was active in Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) before finding his passion as a certified Scaling Up / Rockefeller Habits / Working Genius coach. He is also the co-author of Mentorship Engine: How CEOs Can Leverage Vision and Purpose to Recruit, Develop, and Retain World-Changing Talent.

Personal Highlights
Ethan resides in Colorado and is a dedicated husband to his wife, Kate, and father to their two sons. He is a Certified Flight Instructor, passionate about flying airplanes, teaching others, and exploring new destinations through travel. Whether it’s hiking, camping, or skiing, Ethan indulges in his love of the mountains and outdoors as much as he can.
