Scaling of organizations or “accelerated growth” is on the agenda of many of the organizations Liat work with. In Liat's career as a VP of Human Resources she got to see a wide variety of organizations, some global, some local, but the common denominator for all of them was business growth at one point or another. Two of the companies she worked at as VP Human Resources scaled up. The first grew from $4 million in sales to over $150 million in six years. The second was a start-up that operates in Nigeria. It scaled from hundreds to thousands of installations annually, while doubling the number of employees in Nigeria. Liat worked at two Fortune 500 companies, at which global organizational changes, mergers, acquisitions, and splits are part of the course and require management in an environment that changes rapidly. Over the past four years, She has been a business consultant to organizations and have focused on advising CEOs and senior management on creating processes, plans of action, organizational changes, and talent management programs within the organization. She lead the learning group of the VP Human Resources of Microsoft’s portfolio companies and Samsung Next. Furthermore, Liat creates content for managers on her blog and podcast about the management arena.
