About
I’m an international executive who’s spent much of my career leading and transforming businesses across Asia. I believe in purposeful, authentic leadership — inspiring teams to aim high and make bold moves. I love building high-performing teams and creating the conditions for innovation and growth across different industries and cultures. I’m also a strong believer in the people, planet, profit philosophy and work to embed sustainability into business strategies that create real, lasting value.
Professional Highlights
I spent over 20 years with multinationals HEINEKEN and DIAGEO, where I held senior leadership positions, including Sales Director of Malaysia, Managing Director of Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (APBS), Managing Director of Taiwan, and CEO of Multi Bintang Indonesia.
As CEO of publicly listed Multi Bintang Indonesia, I led the company through six consecutive years of record-breaking performance in revenue, profit, and market share. I spearheaded its transformation from a brewer to a diversified beverage company, increasing the company’s market capitalization from USD 1.8 billion to USD 3 billion and more than doubling total shareholder returns.
As Managing Director of HEINEKEN Taiwan, I worked on an M&A transaction with a local brewer, transforming HEINEKEN Taiwan from an import organization into the second-largest brewer in the country. This strategic initiative delivered substantial value creation, improved sustainability practices, and had a multiplier effect on the local economy.
Most recently, I served as the Regional Managing Director for Southeast Asia at MAYORA, a leading family-owned consumer goods company headquartered in Indonesia. In this capacity, I had end-to-end oversight of regional strategy, governance and performance management of a business spanning multiple international markets and multiple food & beverage categories, driving sustained growth and market leadership.
Personal Highlights
I am an Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors, a Qualified Listed Entity Director (LED) and have completed the Advanced Program on Sustainability for LED. A Distinguished Senior Fellow of National University of Singapore and a graduate of the University of Oregon, I have continued my professional development through executive education programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, INSEAD, London Business School, and Singapore Management University.
