About
Roman started his business career in 1984 and collected a significant amount of experience from different roles and industries. After the Velver revolution, in spring 1990, he started his first "leadership" role while co-founding a private JV together with a German trading company. After 2 years he exited and over time accepted a number of leadership roles in Bristol-Myers Squibb CZ+SR, Česká pojišťovna, Český Telecom and Ericsson, being CEO or CxO on the boards of those companies. In 2010, Roman changed his career path and started gaining significant "hands-on" experience in manufacturing business as crisis manager/CEO in 3 turnaround projects (large format printers, consumer electronics, doors and windows). He started using a number of management tools provided by Rockefeller habits, as he was inspired by Verne Harnish who he met during Verne´s workshop in Prague in 2011. He became a real fan and promoter of Scaling Up methodology. After a successful turn around project, Roman decided to start his own coaching practice with the theme of "helping good companies to grow not bad ones to survive". Since the fall of 2014, Roman has been coaching and mentoring SME businesses primarily in Czech and Slovak republics. Roman has a university degree in Economics, MBA from Katz University in Pittsburgh, USA and absolved numerous courses at Harvard, INSEAD, London Business School, Columbia University. He has got also a formal coaching education (for both individuals and teams) by QED.

Roman´s experience covers a broad spectrum of business, from manufacturing to service industries. His primary focus are entrepreneurs who have ambitions, energy and the humbleness needed to drive and inspire their team. Helping companies to grow and become more competitive, while having a positive impact on all stakeholders. Roman is an active member of global non-profit, Young President supporting personal growth and education of its members. His passion for growth and development of mirrors shows in his active participation in another network call Red Button pioneering new formats of co-operation in effort to "improve the life of inhabitants in Czech and Slovak republics though improving the quality of entrepreneurship".


Personal Highlights
Roman is a proud father of two adult kids and one grandson. Together with his wife he loves spending time with them. He preserves his passion in sport, as he use to play under-graduate top level basketball. Now he enjoys, golfing, walking, hiking and hunting. He loves reading, and his dream is to produce a non-fiction book.
